MAD MIDNIGHT BOMBER

The Mad Midnight Bomber is the star of a Chester Perry advertising campaign of which we have conserved a 28″x40″ poster printed in four-color.

The subject, based on a  cartoon  style, is inspired by the military world, revisited according to the ironic and irreverent spirit typical of the seventies. The fighter pilot wears a not-very-military scarf, that reminds the one that Snoopy wears when dreams of being the Red Baron. The text accompanying the drawing let us imagine the story before and beyond the cartoon, a story of battles between Chester Perry and the Mad Bomber that the company won by putting an end to all the destructive madness: “The mad bomber hated Chester Perry, but we destroyed him!”
