CHESTER PERRY
Chester Perry is the first clothing line designed by Massimo Osti in 1970.
The name is of an obscure company where Bristow, the protagonist of the comic strip of the same name by Frank Dickens, works.
To design the logo, Massimo found inspiration from his true passion: the sea and sailing. The label, which featured the words “Chester Perry” set in a stylized life saver and framed by nautical ropes, has been silkscreened onto accessories and promotional articles such as framed mirrors, 1940s’ style luggage, etc.
